I´m back! Do I? | Konica AUTO S2

Esta questão tem estado na minha mente. Quando voltarei a escrever um post sobre pelicula fotográfica. Quando voltarei a fotografar.

This question has been on my mind lately. When will I write a post about photographic film again. When will I come back to photograph.

Tudo anda mais devagar ultimamente, ou talvez tenho deixado de exercer tanta pressão sobre mim para voltar.

Everything’s been slowing down lately, or maybe I’ve stopped putting so much pressure on me to go back.

Sendo uma recente mãe não tem sido fácil conciliar tudo o que fazia antes de ter a minha filha.

Being a new mom it hasn’t been easy to juggle everything to do before having my daughter.

Durante a minha gravidez sempre achei que seria fácil voltar, quase que de imediato. Claro que fui uma grande sonhadora! Não vamos enganar ninguém. É muito difícil voltar, pelo menos para já. Para nós as mães e mulheres é difícil a dobrar. As prioridades inevitavelmente mudam e passamos parte do tempo a conciliar o que tínhamos antigamente com a rotina que temos agora. E isso sim é verdadeiramente desafiante. Não dá para encaixar tudo de uma vez. Temos de ser pacientes com nós próprios.

During my pregnancy I always thought it would be easy to come back, almost immediately. Of course I was a great dreamer! Let’s not fool anyone. It’s very difficult to go back, at least for now. For us mothers and women it is difficult to bend. Priorities inevitably change and we spend part of the time reconciling what we had in the past with the routine we have now. And that is truly challenging. You can’t fit it all in at once. We have to be patient with ourselves.

Mas tudo se faz, certo? Eu digo que sim.

But we can do it, right? I say yes.

Voltamos então à nossa Konica Auto S2. Estará ela de volta?

So back to our Konica Auto S2. Will she be back?

Ela sim!! Depois de quase ter feito o seu funeral, pensei em dar uma segunda oportunidade. Falei com o Igor Silva da Oficina Analógica ( https://www.instagram.com/oficinaanalogica/ ) e questionei-o sobre o arranjo da Konica. Iria valer apena? Expliquei-lhe a situação e ele deu-me uma dica do que poderia ser. Testei e ela funcionou.

She Yes!! After almost having her funeral, I thought about giving it a second chance. I spoke with Igor Silva from Oficina Analógica and asked him about Konica’s arrangement. Would it be worth it? I explained what it was and he gave me a hint of what it could be. I tested it and it worked.

Coloquei um Ilford HP5+ e saí para fotografar numa altura em que ainda estávamos em confinamento e ainda estava grávida.

I put on an Ilford HP5+ and went out to shoot at a time when we were still in confinement and I was still pregnant.

A konica está de perfeita saúde e à espera pacientemente de ser usava novamente.

The konica is in perfect health and patiently waiting to be used again.
